Volunteer with us
The Community Autism Support Service prides itself on delivering quality services to support autistic people and their supporters in across the region. To do this, we rely on the dedication of our incredible volunteers.
Volunteering with us opens up many opportunities to develop new skills, meet new people and gain insight into the world of mental health and wellbeing support. All volunteers receive training before taking up their role, as well as support sessions and ongoing training. And best of all, you don’t need any previous experience!
We ask that our volunteers have a flexible outlook and are able to give at least six months commitment. So, if you think that you can be warm, understanding, patient and sensitive when supporting people’s mental health, all with a good sense of humour, then why not apply to become a volunteer today?!
Please note, due to limited capacity, we are unable to accept work experience, placements or research projects.
