Practical tools for parents, carers and families

Our training workshops give parents and carers practical tools and guidance to support autistic children, young people or adults. You’ll learn strategies to help your child build skills, confidence and independence, while understanding their strengths and challenges. The workshops aim to equip you to help your child thrive at home, at school and in everyday life.

Toolboxes

Running fortnightly on Tuesday evenings and Thursday lunchtimes, our team leads short, topic-based online sessions for parents, carers and family members of autistic or suspected autistic children. Sessions can be joined on an ad hoc basis, but they are designed to build relationships, provide ongoing therapeutic support for families most in need and offer peer support for regular attendees.

Each one-hour session includes time for confidential discussion, sharing experiences and asking questions. Sessions are run in order, building on each other, are not recorded and are available for parents, carers and family members in Coventry and Warwickshire.
